Daniel E. Greenleaf was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Providence and LogistiCare in December 2019. Mr. Greenleaf is an innovator across the healthcare industry who brings over 25 years of experience successfully transforming healthcare companies through periods of growth. He recently served as President and CEO of BioScrip, Inc. (“BioScrip”), the largest independent provider of infusion and home care management solutions, where he spearheaded the turnaround and successful merger with Option Care Health (Nasdaq: BIOS). Prior to BioScrip, he was the CEO and Chairman of Home Solutions Infusion Services where he led the turnaround and eventual sale to BioScrip. Before Home Solutions Infusion Services, Mr. Greenleaf was the President and CEO of Coram Specialty Services, where he was instrumental in growing Coram to become the top-performing home infusion company in the country prior to its sale to CVS.
Mr. Greenleaf graduated from Denison University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and holds a Master of Business Administration in Health Administration from the University of Miami. He is a military veteran, having served as captain and navigator in the United States Air Force.
Kenneth W. Wilson was appointed Chief Operating Officer of Providence and LogistiCare in May 2020. Mr. Wilson has more than three decades of executive leadership experience in the healthcare industry, encompassing a range of senior operational, managerial, and commercial roles. He recently served as Chief Commercial Officer, Healthcare at Sodexo. Prior to that, Mr. Wilson held the President and Chief Operating Officer role at Hanger, SPS and leadership roles at Cardinal Health and Allegiance Healthcare Corporation. Mr. Wilson began his career at Baxter Healthcare and served in increasingly prominent sales leadership positions.
Mr. Wilson graduated from Davidson College with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Social Science from Davidson College.
Heath Sampson was appointed Chief Financial Officer of ModivCare in February 2021. Mr. Sampson has nearly three decades of executive and financial leadership experience across a range of private and publicly traded companies. Most recently he served as Chief Executive Officer of Advanced Emissions Solutions, Inc., where he orchestrated a successful company turnaround and transformation. Prior to that, he held Chief Financial Officer roles at private equity-owned Square Two Financial and within key business units at First Data Corporation. He began his career in auditing and business consulting at Arthur Anderson.
Mr. Sampson graduated from the University of Denver with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting and a Master of Accountancy degree.
Walt Meffert joined LogistiCare in January 2020 as Chief Information Officer (CIO). In this capacity, Mr. Meffert is responsible for establishing and executing the company’s vision for the industry, leading administrative and technology solutions focused on the delivery of an excellent customer experience across all LogistiCare’s business areas.
Mr. Meffert has a vast background in multiple industries including high-tech, online service, e-commerce, telecommunications, and healthcare. Mr. Meffert has held various C-level roles with several organizations in the healthcare industry, including Versant Health, Visionworks, Davis Vision, Hanger, Apria Healthcare, Coram, and Neighborcare. Throughout his career, Walt gained a reputation for building high-performing, delivery-based and disciplined teams. His business partners trusted his guidance and ability to align technology to meet business objectives and were, therefore, able to deliver significant, lasting results to the organizations.
In 2015, while at Hanger, he was honored with InnoTech Austin’s CIO of the Year award.
Mr. Meffert is a graduate of the renowned GE Edison Engineering Development Program (EEDP) and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and a Master of Science in Computer Science degree from John Hopkins University.
Kathryn Stalmack was appointed Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel in August 2019. Ms. Stalmack has nearly 20 years of experience leading healthcare organizations to manage risk and improve quality and performance. Ms. Stalmack is responsible for all legal matters relevant to the company including contracting, litigation and regulatory compliance. Prior to joining LogistiCare l Circulation, she was Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary at BioScrip, Inc. in Denver, where she advised and represented all levels of the organization on securities compliance, investor relations, corporate governance and more. From 2008 to 2015, Ms. Stalmack served as a Partner/shareholder at Polsinelli PC in Chicago.
She received a bachelor’s degree in science with honors from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and a juris doctorate degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
Laurel Emory was appointed Senior Vice President of Human Resources at LogistiCare l Circulation in February 2020. Laurel brings a wealth of experience in organizational leadership and human resource development. Her career includes over 20 years of experience in strategy, administration, and operations, primarily in healthcare and education, as well as eight years as a business and leadership coach to senior level executives focusing on leadership development, business vision, strategy and planning, and priority management.
Laurel has a Ph.D. in the discipline of Organizational Leadership, a Master in Business Administration (MBA) degree, and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Theology.
Jody Kepler, J.D., LL.M. joined LogistiCare in March 2020 as Chief Compliance Officer. She brings over 15 years of compliance and legal experience in the healthcare industry, with a track record of developing pragmatic, successful corporate compliance programs. She also serves at the company’s Privacy Officer.
Prior to LogistiCare, Ms. Kepler served as Senior Counsel at Tenet Healthcare, Chief Compliance Officer at BioScrip, Inc., Legal Counsel at Coram CVS specialty infusion services, and associate attorney to law firms in the Denver area.
Jody has a Master of Laws degree (LL.M.) from the University of Denver, and a Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from Southern Methodist University.
John McMahon was appointed Chief Accounting Officer of Providence and LogistiCare in August 2020.
Mr. McMahon has over 25 years of accounting experience, including more than a decade in principal accounting officer roles at publicly traded companies. Mr. McMahon is responsible for all corporate accounting and SEC compliance matters at LogistiCare, as well as the tax and treasury functions. Prior to joining LogistiCare, Mr. McMahon was Senior Vice President, Corporate Finance at Option Care Health, following a merger with BioScrip, Inc., where he served as Chief Accounting Officer. Prior to that, he was Chief Financial Officer at Heska Corporation and held VP, Corporate Controller roles at Pinnacle Ag Solutions, Advanced Energy Industries and Danka Office Imaging.
He received an MBA in Finance from California State, East Bay and a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Kutztown University. Mr. McMahon is a licensed CPA in the state of California.
