Daniel E. Greenleaf was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Providence and LogistiCare in December 2019. Mr. Greenleaf is an innovator across the healthcare industry who brings over 25 years of experience successfully transforming healthcare companies through periods of growth. He recently served as President and CEO of BioScrip, Inc. (“BioScrip”), the largest independent provider of infusion and home care management solutions, where he spearheaded the turnaround and successful merger with Option Care Health (Nasdaq: BIOS). Prior to BioScrip, he was the CEO and Chairman of Home Solutions Infusion Services where he led the turnaround and eventual sale to BioScrip. Before Home Solutions Infusion Services, Mr. Greenleaf was the President and CEO of Coram Specialty Services, where he was instrumental in growing Coram to become the top-performing home infusion company in the country prior to its sale to CVS.
Mr. Greenleaf graduated from Denison University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and holds a Master of Business Administration in Health Administration from the University of Miami. He is a military veteran, having served as captain and navigator in the United States Air Force.
Kevin Dotts was appointed Chief Financial Officer of LogistiCare in August 2018. Kevin has over 30 years of experience as a finance and accounting executive at multiple technology companies, serving 14 of those years in the position of chief financial officer.
Before joining Providence, Kevin served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Birch Communications, Inc. and its successor, Fusion Connect, Inc. since February 2017. Prior to that Kevin held CFO roles at Internap, Culligan International and Earthlink. He began his career at General Electric Company (“GE”) and served in increasingly senior financial roles during his 15 years of tenure at GE. Kevin received a bachelor’s degree in finance and computer systems management from Drexel University.
Albert Cortina is Acting Chief Operating Officer for LogistiCare. His most previous role was as Chief Administrative Officer (CAO)/Chief Financial Officer of LogistiCare for over ten years where he had direct oversight over finance, accounting and network claims management; contract development, negotiations and implementation; underwriting and contract trend reporting; system and process optimization analysis; centralized facility and purchase management, contract compliance and risk management. He also provides important input into the company's business development and growth strategies.
Albert has been integrally involved in the growth of LogistiCare since 1997. He became Interim Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on January 4, 2017 and remained in this position until July 2017. He served as the company's Chief Operating Officer for more than five years and served as Executive VP of Finance and Strategic Development, as well as Controller. He was instrumental in rolling up the “any provider billing” State claims-based NET business and in developing, selling and proving out the cost savings and quality benefits of privatization of the non-emergency transportation model to Governor’s Office, Chief of Staffs and Medicaid Agencies. He was key in developing the software management system and business processes used by all LogistiCare operations today to deliver high quality, affordable, medical transportation services. Albert led the transition from the company's original platform and dispatching software to its current multi-disciplined and multi-module integrated proprietary management software of LogistiCAD™ today, which effectively integrates all aspects of NET operations.
Albert came to LogistiCare after holding the Chief Financial Officer position with Premier Practice Management, a multi-specialty physician practice management organization; and its successor, Caremark/MedPartners Physicians Services Inc. Prior to that, he held various executive positions with private physician groups and with the Georgia Department of Audits Medicaid Division, where he conducted Medicaid health and cost report audits on national nursing homes, home health agencies and hospitals.
Albert earned a BS in Accounting from Florida State University, and he is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.
Kathryn Stalmack was appointed Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel in August 2019. Ms. Stalmack has nearly 20 years of experience leading healthcare organizations to manage risk and improve quality and performance. Ms. Stalmack is responsible for all legal matters relevant to the company including contracting, litigation and regulatory compliance. Prior to joining LogistiCare l Circulation, she was Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary at BioScrip, Inc. in Denver, where she advised and represented all levels of the organization on securities compliance, investor relations, corporate governance and more. From 2008 to 2015, Ms. Stalmack served as a Partner/shareholder at Polsinelli PC in Chicago.
She received a bachelor’s degree in science with honors from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and a juris doctorate degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
Julie Correll was appointed Chief Compliance Officer for Providence Service Corporation, LogistiCare Solutions, and Circulation in November 2018. Prior to the appointment, as LogistiCare’s Ethics & Compliance Officer Julie established the company’s first comprehensive corporate compliance function, including forming and chairing LogistiCare’s compliance committee. She implements and oversees all Medicare / Medicaid program integrity compliance activities, including drafting policies and procedures and developing the code of conduct and related training. As CCO Julie continues to lead and oversee ethics investigations, prepare ethics and compliance risk assessments and risk mitigation work plans, manage auditing and monitoring activities, and work with the company’s clients and law enforcement on issues involving fraud, waste, and abuse.
Prior to joining LogistiCare, Julie was Of Counsel for middle-market and small private employers, where she provided executives with a full scope of legal and business advice and expertise, with a focus on ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and employment laws and regulations.
Julie began her 30-year legal career at Wildman, Harrold, Allen & Dixon (now Locke Lord, LLP), where she specialized in commercial transactions and litigation in intellectual property, antitrust, employment, and corporate matters.
Julie earned a BA in Political Science and Philosophy, with university honors, from Northern Illinois University, and a JD from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. She is licensed to practice law in Illinois and Virginia, and is Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC).
Suzanne G. Smith was appointed Chief Accounting Officer at LogistiCare in February 2019.
Suzanne has more than two decades of accounting and finance experience in a variety of industries. She most recently served as Chief Accounting Officer of Cumulus Media from May 2017 until February 2019. Previous appointments include Vice President and Corporate Controller of staffing firm, Employbridge, interim Chief Financial Officer for Acuity, Senior Vice President and Corporate Controller of Serta Simmons Bedding, and Director of Finance and Accounting for Kemira Chemicals, North America.
Ms. Smith graduated from Ohio State University with a BS in Human Ecology and received a MBA with a concentration in Finance from Georgia State University. She is a CPA licensed in Georgia.
Neil Singer joined LogistiCare in February 2018 as Chief Technology Officer. Neil is a 30 year technology veteran who has served as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) or Chief Information Officer (CIO) for a variety of midsize companies, startups, and divisions of Fortune 500 companies. In each of these companies he has specialized in developing proprietary technologies to generate and sustain competitive advantage for the enterprise.
Just prior to LogistiCare, Neil served as CIO for Billtrust, the leading FinTech company in the business-to-business billing and payments space where he led SaaS development, product management, and technology infrastructure.
Neil brings deep experience to LogistiCare in IT strategy, agile software development, platform engineering and operations, information technology service management (ITSM), systems integration, and IT governance. Neil was instrumental in the due diligence and acquisition of Circulation in September 2018
Neil holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from Lehigh University and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
Effie Carlson is the Executive Vice President of Growth and Client Services at LogistiCare l Circulation. Effie joined the organization in July 2019 and leads multiple departments, including sales, client services, business development, marketing, government relations and proposals.
She previously served as general manager and vice president of payer and government relations for Team Select Home Care, a home health care agency focused on the needs of Medicare and Medicaid members. Prior to Team Select Home Care, Effie served as head of provider network management at CareCentrix, where she worked closely with provider networks across the country in home health, durable medical equipment, and infusion to address complexities surrounding post-acute care.
Effie, a former candidate for the Arizona House of Representatives, received a BA in psychology from Arizona State University.
Chris was newly appointed EVP of Contracts and Pricing in January 2019. He joined the LogistiCare management team in 2008 and previously served as Executive Vice President of Administration and Operations.
He is responsible for pricing, underwriting, contract analysis, client reporting, and contract audits. He previously served as the Senior Vice President of Operations for the Atlantic Region. Chris brings over twenty years of management experience and familiarity with call center environments. In the six years prior to joining LogistiCare, Mr. Echols was Vice President of Operational Finance for a global market research firm. He also served in various capacities for a firm that provided outsourced call center functions, including customer service and data collection, to telecom and financial customers. His proven skill set includes customer service, data analysis, operational reporting and problem-solving.
Chris received a Bachelor of Science degree in management with a concentration in accounting from Georgia Tech.
Jenny Southern is a seasoned Human Resources professional with more than 25 years of experience in administration managing key human resources functions, including 14+ years with LogistiCare implementing NET contracts and managing all HR-related federal and state regulatory and contract compliance requirements.
Since January 2002, Jenny has held the positions of Director of Human Resources, Vice President of Human Resources and most recently was promoted to Senior Vice President of Human Resources for LogistiCare. She is responsible for directing and coordinating HR activities for 3800+ employees at more than 32 nationwide locations.
She advises senior and line management on best practices, policies, regulations, and practical standards regarding equal opportunity/affirmative action employment, recruitment and hiring options, performance management and disciplinary procedures, employee relations, terminations, and employee benefits. Prior to joining LogistiCare, Jenny worked for Deloitte Consulting for five years as a Regional Human Resources Manager.
Jenny is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification.
