- LogistiCare began managing four of six regions (III, IV, V and VI)) of South Carolina's Medicaid non-emergency medical tranportation program May 1, 2007 through a contract with the South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS).
- The company operates regional offices in North Augusta, North Charleston and Columbia.
- A network operations center/call center is in Mullins.
- About 60 jobs were created for South Carolina residents -- 42 are in Mullins with the remainder spread among the other three offices.
- There are nearly 400,000 eligible Medicaid beneficiaries in the four regions managed by LogistiCare.
