LOGISTICARE COORDINATES TRANSPORTATION FOR ELDER HEALTH MEDICARE ADVANTAGE MEMBERS IN PENNSYLVANIA

ATLANTA, May 3,  2005 --
LogistiCare announced today that it has signed a contract to coordinate transportation services for Elder Health’s Medicare Advantage members in Pennsylvania.

Members in suburban Philadelphia, including Bucks, Delaware and Montgomery Counties, became eligible for the service May 1. Eligible Medicare Advantage Members in Pittsburgh may participate effective June 1. On July 1, eligible members within the city of Philadelphia will have access to the program.

“We are looking forward to continuing our relationship with Elder Health,” said John Shermyen, president and chief executive officer of LogistiCare. “Earlier this year, we began coordinating transportation for Elder Health’s Medicare Advantage members in the District of Columbia and two nearby counties in Maryland. This new contract will enable us once again to help meet the transportation needs of Elder Health members.

“Elder Health is a recognized leader as a Medicare-only HMO, because they offer free primary care and free transportation to their members,” added Shermyen.

LogistiCare will coordinate ambulatory and wheelchair service in the Philadelphia areas. Ambulatory, wheelchair and non-emergency ambulance services will be provided in Pittsburgh.

Program membership in the contract areas is just under 7,000 and is anticipated to double by the end of 2006.
