Mr. Birge oversees the utilization review functions of our state operations, including the auditing of all standing order reservations. Mr. Birge assists each operation in the development of provider overpayment recovery policies and ensures compliance with program integrity reporting to state clients.

Mr. Birge has over 15 years of health care transportation experience and previously served as LogistiCare’s Operations Director in Virginia and our Transportation Manager in Georgia. Mr. Birge also owned and managed an ambulance company and worked as a certified paramedic.

He holds degrees as a Basic Emergency Medical Technician, Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (Paramedic) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
